Special Transit Stamp

• This special transit stamp is the perfect stamp for people in the transport and shipping industry.
• Authorised Consignors important notice: As part of conditions to be an Authorised Consignor it is essential that you hold a Special Transit Stamp and BCP/Fallback Stamp. These stamps are used in the event of NCTS (Transit system) not being available and manual documentation is approved for use. It is now essential for an authorised consignor to have these stamps and for that reason, you should order soon. Most importantly these stamps will get you through customs in the event of the NCTS being unavailable. 

FORMAT OF FIELDS ON SPECIAL TRANSIT STAMP

• Box 1: Pre-populated with country code. ie UK, IE, FR
• Box 2: Reference number of customs Office of Departure – this should be pre-populated as per the authorisation given. If authorised for TWO office(s) of departure, TWO stamps should be produced showing the individual Office(s) of Departure on each.
• Box 3: Declaration field – will be blank, The ACR in agreement with the Customs Office of Departure should show how they allocate declarations numbers (for BCP/Fallback) effectively in order to ensure that duplication does not occur. This method of allocation should be in agreement with the Control Officer.
• Box 4: Blank - for a date to be entered
• Box 5: Pre-populated with Trader/Authorised Consignor name.
• Box 6: Pre-populated with an authorisation number for the Trader/Authorised Consignor.
• Spare ink pad ref: S-846-7.
• This self-inking stamp is constructed from tough heavy-duty plastic resulting in a long-lasting stamp capable of providing thousands of clear impressions over many years.
• Fitted with its own built-in ink pad, which is easily replaced adding to the life of the stamp.
