How to Use Rubber Stamps For Invitations

How to Use Rubber Stamps For Invitations
We wrote previously about how you can use our wedding stamp to create unique and unusual wedding invites. Since then, others have been inspired to put the idea to use – going even further and decorating place cards and wedding favour boxes with personalised stamps.

But using rubber stamps for invites doesn't have to stop at weddings. Plenty of other special occasions and events can benefit from a special touch on invites and RSVPs. The range of potential invitations is only limited by your imagination and time – big birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, surprise events and much more.

Stamping Not Printing

The great thing about using a rubber stamp in place of printing is the personal touch. Stamped items have a rustic feel to them and being hand-made, each invite will be unique.

Of course, the main text of the invite (e.g. the name of the person, the celebration and even the date) can be stamped with a custom stamp-like our wedding stamp, but you could also add some flair to your design with flowers, images and animals from our arts and crafts stamps.

Notice how Katie & Tom added colour to their favour boxes? With a multi-coloured pigmented stamp pad, you can create a similar effect with a range of colours.

Quality Paper and Card

We'd recommend using quality paper or card for your invites. They'll work well with the rubber stamps you'll be using and compliment the inks. Without having to pay for a printer, you'll save money that way. Making invites yourself with rubber stamps does take a little more effort, but it pays off with wonderful invites your guests will be impressed by.

A More Personal Touch

To make your invites even more personal you can use our SignStamp to add your signature and custom message every time you stamp without having to write each card out by hand. This is a fantastic way to give the impression of personalisation without a sore wrist!

Creating Your Own Invite Stamp

If you have design skills, you can use your own text and design with fonts and save as a 400-600dpi black and white graphic file (remember the impression can be 95 x 55mm max), then get in touch with us and place your order. Alternatively, we can make a custom stamp for you based on just specific text you'd like to stamp on the card.

So why not design your own invites and get in touch with us today?
